Align works with a wide variety of businesses and organizations, serving each in a different way. Here is a small sampling of our clients and what we do to help them be stronger and more efficient.
Strong Families, Strong Wyoming
Strong Families, Strong Wyoming manages a federal grant that works with high school age students from across Wyoming to help build better relationships and better lives. The program provides education on relationships, parenting for young parents, communications and life sequencing. Align has worked closely with Strong Families, Strong Wyoming over the past year to provide ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement support. Align created a CQI plan for the program and works on a regular basis with staff to ask appropriate questions, review the data and create plans for improvement.
Wyoming Community College Commission
Align administers and services several programs for the commission, including the Wyoming Investment in Nursing (WyIN) Tuition Program, the Teacher Shortage Loan Repayment Program (TSLRP) and the Wyoming Adjunct Professor Loan Repayment Program (WAPLR). We work closely with universities and community colleges and the WCCC to ensure participants comply with program rules and requirements, maintain records, and monitor and track student progress.
Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ)
Since 1973, the DEQ has served as the state’s regulatory agency charged with protecting, conserving and enhancing Wyoming’s land, air and water for the benefit of current and future generations. Most recently, Align has worked with the Water Quality and AML divisions of the DEQ, providing detailed process mapping that helped to improve processes, structures and outcomes. Through this process, Align helped identify efficiencies and improved processes, some of which include updating systems, restructuring staffing to better meet the agency’s needs, and leveraging other state divisions, services and general streamlining.
Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA)
The Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA) is a nonprofit, non-partisan association for the local economic and community development entities across the State of Wyoming. Align contracts with WEDA to provide program management services for the association. This includes working closely with their board of directors to provide board management, membership management, conference facilitation, educational opportunities leadership and lobbying. Align works to provide high-quality services to the members which will help build capacity and leadership across the state.
Wyoming Nonprofit Network
The Wyoming Nonprofit Network represents the collective voice of the Wyoming nonprofit sector and brings best practices, resources and support to the nonprofit community so that each nonprofit can fulfill its mission more effectively. The Network advocates for, and builds recognition of the nonprofit sector, facilitates professional development opportunities, and serves as a referral and informational resource. As part of Align’s commitment to our communities and the nonprofits that serve them, we provided pro bono services to reorganize and reinvigorate a statewide association for nonprofits in 2011 and 2012.
Wyoming Telecommunications Association
The Wyoming Telecommunications Association’s mission is to provide information, representation and general assistance to its members in regulatory, legislative and general business matters relating to the telecommunications industry. Align contracts with WYTA to provide board management, conference and meeting facilitation and recordkeeping.
United Way of Laramie County
United Way of Laramie County envisions a community where all individuals and families have the opportunity to achieve their full potential. Align is fortunate to have partnered with United Way since our inception, offering a range of services that have included facilitating board retreats and strategic planning sessions as well as the process for changing their funding model. We partner with them in providing capacity building services for area nonprofits.
