Meet the Align Team​

Kathy began her career in banking and was a member of the leadership team that developed the concept of Align. Known as a master of efficiency and a skilled team leader, Kathy was instrumental in structuring the organization. Her strengths have helped numerous clients evolve into more efficient, effective, improved organizations. Born and raised in Wyoming, Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Park University. She serves as Chair of the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, is a member of  Zonta International. In her spare time, Kathy enjoys spending time with her husband, family and grandchildren.

In 2004, Brittany brought her passion for organizational improvement and community development to the table as one of the founders of Align. Since then, Brittany has specialized in human resources, organizational improvement and community development. Brittany brings an extensive knowledge and understanding of the most effective ways to work and communicate with organizations and communities, large and small. She is uniquely effective in bringing people together, building consensus, and moving projects and programs forward. With a keen sense of how leadership roles and organizations impact and shape the arenas they operate in, Brittany has developed strategies to improve work environments and communities throughout the region. Her skilled approach began with her heritage.  Brittany grew up on a farm in eastern Colorado which prides itself in coming together for the betterment of its citizens. When not facilitating or driving program success, Brittany can be found running her children to dance or volleyball and volunteering in the community. She serves as Board Chair for United Way of Laramie County and is an active member of the Cheyenne Rotary Club.

Jody joined Align in 2007, coming from the healthcare and philanthropic fields where she worked in marketing, community outreach and organizational planning. Utilizing her many years of experience and education, she works with Align clients primarily in the areas of strategic planning, facilitation, and association management. She is highly skilled in facilitating public participation processes and situations where a decision making body needs to incorporate the interests and concerns of all stakeholders and reach consensus to move forward. Jody also serves as Executive Director of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network, the state association for charitable nonprofits. With a thorough knowledge of the nonprofit sector, she finds it especially rewarding to provide resources and support to the nonprofit community and raise awareness of their vital role in our communities. A Wyoming native, she enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and kayaking on quiet mountain lakes.

Cathy joined the Align team in 2019 as Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. Cathy oversees communications, outreach, public relations and marketing for Align. Cathy holds a degree in Journalism from West Virginia University. Prior to joining Align, Cathy and her husband lived in Austin, Texas where she volunteered with the Central Texas Food Bank and the United Way for Greater Austin. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys spending time with her husband in the great outdoors; cycling, kayaking, camping and cooking.

Adam brings to Align 25 years professional information technology experience. He is responsible for all aspects of Align’s technology infrastructure from physical networks to cloud management and future planning. An antiquarian and bibliophile, Adam also enjoys spelunking, continuing one of the longest Ingress hacking streaks in the world, and peregrination. He is a former world record holder for the high score in iFRAC, a 3-D Tetris® game!

Ellie is currently a program coordinator for Early Childhood in Wyoming. She works with STARS, a program that works to ensure positive outcomes for children, families, and childcare professionals in the state of Wyoming. Ellie also works with the Wyoming Early Childhood Learning Professional Learning Collaborative, a joint effort to establish a new and innovative system for designing and delivering professional development. A graduate of the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Ellie is a fan of the Colorado Rockies and enjoys playing with her dogs and putting smiles on people’s faces

Mary joined the Align team in 2019 as a Human Resources Specialist and as a Program Coordinator for the Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA). She serves as a point of contact for all HR Consulting and Training, in addition to her role as WEDA Coordinator.  She brings extensive experience in human resources, marketing and organizational development. Mary is currently President of the Board of Directors for the local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management, and serves on the State SHRM Board as well.  In her community, she volunteers her time as a board member for the Boys & Girls Club of Cheyenne. In her spare time, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandchildren and enjoys traveling.

Aaron leads Align’s work with the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP), a federally-funded program that helps low and fixed income families and individuals pay home heating bills. His role includes coordinating program management services, communicating with the State and software vendors, improving processes while better serving our clients. A Wyoming native, Aaron brings nearly a decade of digital marketing experience with a large Internet retailer. He is an avid supporter of Wyoming Cowboys sports teams and enjoys to golf in his free time.

Eric leads Align’s work with the Community Services Network of Wyoming (CSNOW) and the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG), a federal grant whose purpose is to reduce poverty and help communities and families become self-sufficient. In his work with CSNOW, Eric helps bring multiple state and private agencies together to better meet the goals of the CSBG and to further the mission of CSNOW through training, managing resources and problem solving. Originally from California, Eric has a Master’s Degree in Leadership from Hope International University and has been leading non-profit organizations for over 20 years. Eric and his wife reside in Cheyenne with their two children and enjoy the outdoors, their dogs, and their community.

Becca provides leadership for the early childhood portfolio at Align, as well as consultation services for entities around the state. She came to Align after spending ten years identifying and advocating for solutions and innovations to impact Wyoming’s young children and their families. A fifth generation Wyomingite, Becca enjoys spending time with family and friends in her community and around the state. And when she isn’t assembling new knowledge, you can find her adventuring in the kitchen and the great outdoors!

Susan is the Program Coordinator for the Preschool Development Birth through Five Initial Grant, a federally-funded grant that builds on existing initiatives and programs for young children and families. Susan provides essential support by managing the project team, ensuring progress toward goals and deliverables, and complying with federal requirements. Susan also contributes to the success of other programs in Align’s early childhood portfolio.  In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family and cheering for her son at hockey games.

One of the most well-known faces of our team, Tina has been with Align since 2009 and serves the office in a critical capacity. From arranging travel of team members, securing supplies, to assisting with accounting functions, Tina ensures that our team is operating efficiently and is well-prepared for any project that comes our way. Tina is also the point of contact for both Energy Share of Wyoming and CWNS, which is the CSBG multi-county funding for the Department of Health.  Her behind-the-scenes support is what helps Align consultants focus on providing the best client service possible. Tina’s favorite pastime is spending time with her family.

Deana has been with Align since 2004 and serves as the dedicated point of contact for the Wyoming Community College Commission, a position from which she is able to help students in the state of Wyoming realize their educational goals. Deana plays an integral role behind the scenes at Align as well. She manages an array of responsibilities from assisting with accounting functions and troubleshooting internal IT problems to coordinating project calendars, ensuring the team stays on task and clients are happy with their outcomes. In her downtime Deana enjoys watching basketball, and travels whenever possible.

Kristie joined Align in August,2019 in the role of Administrative Coordinator. In this position, Kristie provides administrative support for all members of Align’s executive and project support team. In addition to her booking responsibilities for CSNOW, she helps coordinate the company’s internal relations activities. When she is not bringing the “fun factor” to Align, Kristie volunteers with Black Dog Animal Rescue and is also an active member of Zonta Club of Cheyenne. She and her husband enjoy hiking and kayaking and are proud parents to their hound dog Ellie May Clampett-Wilson and their wheaten terrier Wil O’Wheaten-Wilson.

Since joining Align full-time, Dorene has become an essential member of the Align team, providing support to multiple Align clients. Whether it’s answering phone inquiries regarding the STARS registry, assisting students for the Wyoming Community College Commission or walking LIEAP clients through the application process, Dorene’s patience and attention to detail are outstanding. A Cheyenne native, you can find Dorene and her family enjoying time in the mountains, camping and watching the Denver Broncos!

A member of our processing support team, Erika plays an integral role in data processing, managing office walk-ins and clients, and providing phone support. She is bilingual, providing critical support to clients in need of translation services. A mother of three beautiful children, Erika enjoys spending her free time with her family.

Jackie is the point of connection for all Align clients, always smiling and greeting  those who need to get in touch with Align and keeps the office on track.  Jackie ensures in-person visitors and phone callers alike get connected with the support person they need, when they need it.  When Jackie is not actively helping people, you can find her watching the Royals and Jayhawks. She is also an avid NASCAR fan!
