Align is seeking a consultant that has education and experience in organizational development, including learning and performance improvement; management theory and practice; sales of professional services; and curriculum design/adult learning. The qualified applicant will establish and develop internal and external client relationships to provide the service of improving client organizational results by consulting, assessing performance, diagnosing problems, facilitating group interaction, training and recommending courses of action.  Maintains client confidence in Align and protects client operations by keeping information confidential.  The ability to travel is an essential part of the job.  This position reports directly to a principal of the Align consulting group.

Responsibilities include:

  • Remain current in job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with internal and external clients and peers.
  • Develop and complete contracts based on the needs of clients.
  • Stay current on trends, skills and techniques in adult education principles, management and performance improvement.
  • Convene and lead large and small group projects, briefings and discussions to appropriate and useful outcomes.
  • Design systems and procedures.
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations for internal and external clients.
  • Conduct work simplifications and measurement studies.
  • Prepare operation and procedure manuals to assist internal and external clients.
  • Consult with potential clients to assess, diagnose, and survey effectiveness of client organization.
  • Develop and presenting materials for audiences of all sizes.
  • Design and deliver training, learning and development programs.
  • Seek and enlist clients throughout the Rocky Mountain west.
    • Identify and nurture new and existing clients. 
    • Schedule and conduct telephone and face-to-face appointments.
    • Initiate contact with clients to develop, cultivate, and establish productive, collaborative relationships with client decision-makers.
    • Execute business-to-business proactive outreach, discovering and exploring opportunities.
    • Develop and enhance external credibility.
    • Monitor client preferences to determine focus of development efforts through frequent communication
    • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, performance requirements, revenue potential, and internal priorities.
    • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating partners’ needs and goals, and determining feasibility.
    • Provide a clear, compelling, and articulate explanation of our business value to prospective clients.
    • Work within the team to evaluate, and make recommendations to management on RFP submissions.
    • Compose and deliver responses to RFPs.
    • Identify ways to adjust and strengthen marketing by assessing trends, forces, and competitors.
    • Represent corporation during conferences, conventions, trade association gatherings and seminars.
    • Maintain and add information to corporate database of prospects and possibilities.
  • Support Align’s culture and values.

Qualified individuals will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business, organizational development, education, Adult Learning or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Work experience of 3-5 years in education, training, advisory, consultative and/or management environment.
  • 3-5 years experience in group facilitation, organizational assessment, training and instructional design and/or organizational development.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to sell services and represent Align and Western States positively in a wide variety of venues.
  • The ability and commitment to work within a team environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, including details.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

An open office environment with comfortable surroundings. Financial Administrator

Align is seeking a Financial Administrator that will work under the general direction of the CFO, accesses the accounting system in connection with financial matters including accounts receivable and payable, and auditing; develops accounting policies and procedures for transacting financial matters; and ensures that the financial reporting system is accurate, efficient, and in accordance with professional accounting practices and governmental regulations. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Capable of performing detailed financial analysis including advanced financial modeling, profitability analysis, return on investment/discounted cash flow analysis, monitoring business issues and impact to bottom line.
  • Heavy involvement assisting CFO with forecasting and managerial accounting.
  • Oversee projects and implement them successfully.
  • Perform various analytical functions, including analyzing proposed introduction of new programs, facilities acquisition, etc. and provide actionable insights.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, etc. as necessary.
  • Prepares internal management reporting packages, including analytical review and graphs.
  • Develop informational reports from databases.
  • Attend key meetings, both internal and external.,

Qualified individuals will have:

  • Impeccable ethical standards.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or other related area.
  • At least 3 years business experience, with a focus in managerial accounting..
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong project management skills and an entrepreneurial, self-motivated attitude.
  • Excellent computer skills including Excel, Access, Word, Power Point, ACT and financial software packages as needed. Experience with MAS90, Sage time sheet, Sage job cost accounting software a major plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, a strong work ethic, and demonstrated teamwork skills.
  • Ability to function independently and effectively in a self-directed environment.
