We are informed and active stewards. We learn about communities by contributing our time and money. We invest in building better communities by helping organizations become more effective and efficient, and by supporting local economies. We help those we serve reach their full potential. We offer guidance and best practices to clients and the organizations for which we volunteer.
Align originated as Western States Learning Corporation in 2004. We formed as a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation to help others achieve success in career and organizational goals by providing access to lifelong learning, supporting higher education, and helping organizations to reach their full potential.
During the early years, we serviced Wyoming Student Loan Corporation’s portfolio; administered the Wyoming Teacher Shortage Loan Repayment and Wyoming Investment in Nursing programs for the Wyoming Community College Commission; provided programs and grants to help 6th through 8th graders prepare for college and careers; and assisted nonprofit organizations to increase their capacity through consulting and training services.
Over the years, we have evolved and expanded to help organizations and communities of all types and sizes achieve their goals through customized solutions. Although our legal name hasn’t changed, we now do business as Align to reflect our breadth of services and expertise. We firmly believe that strong communities are realized when businesses, nonprofits and governments are efficient, effective and working collaboratively.
